What To Expect
Visiting any church for the first time can be stressful for most of us! We want to alleviate any of that stress we can before you arrive because we genuinely believe that if you take the chance to visit us you will have the best Sunday you have had in a long time. Regardless of where you are coming from you will feel welcome and loved.
What are the people like?
We have more in common than you might think. We have all sinned against God and made messes we cannot clean up on our own. We all have a deep longing to know God and to know why we are here. We all have a desire to be accepted for who we are but also want to become who God intended us to be. CCE is not a museum for perfect people. It is a gathering of people who have become recipients of God’s grace. We are forgiven people growing in the character of Jesus. It is a lifelong journey we share with one another.
What is the service like?
Covenant Community is a family. We desire to be the kind of family that loves deeply, grows steadily, as we intentionally pursue God’s best together. We understand that we were created to worship God and enjoy Him forever…but do not have to wait until we are in Heaven to begin! Each week we gather to celebrate the God who has rescued and restored us. That is why we call it a worship service. Our services are not about us. Our services are about our incredible God.
Before you arrive:
Before you come we invite you to continue looking through our website to find out more about our beliefs, mission, and vision. We are here to answer any question s you might have. Feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable. We care about you not what you're wearing. Most people dress casually and comfortably.
Our worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. Park anywhere you would like to and enter through the front entrance. Near the door you will find our “hosts” who will be able to answer any question you might have.
We love it when people visit for the first time, and we do not want to miss meeting you! If you are visiting us for the first time let one of our hosts know. They will be able to help you find our secure nursery and children’s ministry with ease. Once you step into the gym you will see our information table. Please stop by and say hello. We have a gift for you there! Once you have received your gift feel free to make yourself at home wherever you feel comfortable. During the service you will have the opportunity to worship with our musicians and hear a message straight from the Bible. No one will put you on the spot in any way during the service. We receive an offering early in the service but as our guest you are in no way obligated or expected to give. Just relax and make yourself at home!
Our worship service ends about 12:30 p.m. We seek to be predictable enough for you to keep your family’s schedule, yet sensitive enough to God to end our service when God is finished. You are always free to slip out early if you need to.
